Support handoff workshop — original GenPPT demonstration These are fictional training notes, not customer data. Audience: a small software support team preparing a 20-minute handoff workshop. Goal: turn scattered ticket notes into a repeatable handoff that a colleague can act on. The three things every handoff needs: 1. Context: what the person is trying to do, and which product area is involved. 2. Evidence: steps already tried, the exact error message, and a safe link to a screenshot with private details removed. 3. Next action: who owns the next step, what they should check, and when the team should follow up. Practice case: A fictional user cannot export their presentation. A teammate confirmed the workspace opens, the file has five slides, and the export button is visible. They have not yet checked the export response or tried the downloaded file in PowerPoint. The next owner should inspect the export response and open the exported file before declaring the case resolved. Suggested workshop sequence: Opening and goal; the three-part handoff; a good handoff example; a paired practice exercise; a final checklist. Final checklist: State the goal. Keep observations separate from guesses. Remove private information. Name the next owner and next action. Confirm the actual downloaded result. Create five slides in Portuguese. Retain the distinction between observations and hypotheses. Use no invented metrics, testimonials or guarantees. All example situations are fictional.
