GenPPT guides
Find the right workflow for your presentation: create a draft, study a deck’s design, export a file or prepare speaker notes. These guides explain the steps and the checks to make before sharing.
Choose your next task
- Create a presentation with AI Start with a topic or brief. Learn about generation options, previewing slides and exporting your work.
- Analyze a PowerPoint design Use an existing PPTX as a reference for colour, typography and layout. Review the extracted design prompt before reusing it.
- Convert PowerPoint to PDF Export a reading copy from a PPTX. Check supported files, account requirements and the downloaded PDF’s layout.
- Prepare speaker notes Use slide content as the basis for a speaking draft. Review the wording, claims and transitions, then rehearse it yourself.
- Share a presentation in the showcase Read how to submit your work and how review works. Check the deck for private information and permissions before making it public.
Before you begin
- Write a short brief: audience, purpose, language and facts that must appear. Keep a source for figures and claims you plan to use.
- Sign in when the chosen tool requires an account. Check its credit and export requirements; AI generation and file conversion do not all have the same costs.
- Choose the output you need. PDF and JPG are static; PPTX and DOCX still need a layout and editability check in the app where you will use them.
When something goes wrong
A file will not upload
Check the selected tool’s supported format and size. Renaming a file’s extension does not convert it. Save older PowerPoint files as PPTX in a presentation app when PPTX is required.
An AI draft contains an incorrect claim
Compare the statement with your source. Correct names, dates and figures before presenting; enabling web search does not make every generated claim reliable.
The exported layout looks different
Open the actual downloaded file. Check fonts, line breaks, image placement and page order; animations and embedded media may not appear in a static export.
